What is

Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional Therapy is an individually-centred complementary therapy, which seeks to promote the optimum health and wellbeing of an individual, by applying evidence-based nutritional science.

Every individual is unique both biologically and in their own 'life story', so recommended nutritional and lifestyle advice is highly personalised to suit the individual's circumstances.

As your Nutritional Therapist my aim will be to listen to your story and :

  • Assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances that may be contributing to your symptoms.

  • Work together with you to devise a nutrition and lifestyle programme, aimed at supporting nutritional balance, to optimise your health and wellbeing.

  • Your input and preferences are a key part of the process, with the aim of producing a programme that is personalised and appropriately tailored to suit your lifestyle and preferences.

Along with promoting optimal digestive health, Nutritional Therapy can also assist in:

  • optimising blood sugar balance and  energy levels

  • balancing hormones and supporting immune function

  • stress/fatigue management and promoting emotional and psychological wellbeing

  • promoting healthy weight management

to name but a few of the many potential benefits.

Please note:

Nutritional Therapy works well alongside conventional medicine but is never recommended as an alternative to medical advice, so you may be referred to your GP for certain signs and symptoms.

Nutritional Therapists are not medically qualified and are unable to diagnose, claim to treat or advise against medication.

Client safety is paramount.
